About this Opportunity


The Manager, Talent & Development, has accountability for the governance and oversight of all Talent Management strategies, programs and processes in Canada. Key stakeholders for this role include the Canada Executive Team, HR Leadership Team; working in close partnership with HR Business Partners, Capability Managers and Functional Leadership to address talent management and development priorities that support the sustainable growth of the business.  



The role will lead the strategy, development, implementation, management, communications and administration of all Talent & Development programs for CCR Canada. This role will act as a strategic consultant and is accountable for the seamless execution of all talent and development programs.



This includes:



  • Identifying and strengthening individual, leadership and organizational capabilities
  • Setting and implementing Canada talent strategies, processes, metrics and routines
  • Providing learning and development solutions (lead signature programs, and develop/execute custom programs) across Canada for all levels of Talent (Executive to Frontline)
  • Providing tools and leadership/governance for Performance Management, Talent Management,
  • Creating and implementing Leadership Development and Engagement initiatives



What you will need to succeed in this role: 



  • Completion of bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience within the Talent and Learning space in business;
  • Proven consulting experience in working with executives and senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, probe, analyse and problem solve issues with minimal guidance
  • Solid understanding of HR policies and practices
  • Must possess critical thinking skills and analytical/problem solving skills and abilities
  • Experience leading and managing diverse groups of people
  • Leadership and influencing skills including the ability to build credible and trusting relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to work with and present to all levels with the organization
  • Intermediate computer and database application skills
  • HRPA Professional Certification preferred
