About This Opportunity

 

In partnership with Commercial, Brand, and Bottler associates, support business case development for Stages

and Gates innovation process. 

 

The Financial Services Manager (FM) will have responsibility for collaborating with the business to gather inputs required to assess the viability of proposed brand and/or packaging initiatives. Supporting business case development includes utilizing business inputs to build accurate pro-forma P&Ls and contributing to presentations to executive management to support the conclusions drawn by the analysis including scenario assessment to enable decision-making.

 

The FSM will report to the VP of Finance, who partners with Commercial, Brand, and Sales to drive Canada’s growth agenda.

 

Advanced Financial Analysis. Ability to perform financial analyses to assist in exploring strategic options, developing creative solutions to complex business issues, and/or supporting decision-making. This includes the ability to design and perform unique analyses and analyses that require the application of single or multiple financial and non-financial concepts and tools (e.g., NPV, IRR, Discounted Cash Flow, statistical analyses, contribution, implications to strategic position). Additionally, scenario building and analysis and the ability to understand and explain data relationships.

 

Bottler Operations and Economics. Knowledge of the system, business, organization, functions, operational and/or financial processes necessary to effectively perform internal Company analyses and/or transactions.

 

Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of international, U.S. or local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This includes the ability to apply these principles and determine compliance with the principles

  • Strong analytical skills including commercial and value chain analysis experience

What you will need to succeed in this role

 

 

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, can-do attitude, an attention to details, intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills and solid communication skills.
  • 3+ years as a proven effective team and/or project leader.
  • Advanced Excel and scenario modeling skills
  • High level presentation and communication skills

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required; Masters’ Degree and/or a Designation in Accounting, Finance or Economics is a plus.
