We are seeking a timekeeping administrator to assist in managing our local timesheet submissions and payroll inquires.  Our payroll is sent and completed using a 3rd party, so this role will solely focus on local timekeeping and other administrative tasks at our Distribution and Warehouse locations.  This role will reside in Richmond, but will occasionally require travel to our location in Coquitlam.  The hours of work will be 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.  Where needed based on payroll deadlines, this role my flex to early shifts on Mondays or Tuesdays. 

 

Position Highlights:

  • Administer local timekeeping system for Distribution and Warehouse team in SAP;
  • Review, edit and follow up on timesheets for all hourly operations employees;
  • Responsible to investigate employee payroll questions/concerns and provide details to employees and supervisors as needed;
  • Prepare time reports on a weekly/biweekly basis through use of SAP for the Distribution Center Manager (DCM);
  • Provide support for administrative tasks as directed by the DCM, Distribution Manager and Warehouse Manager;
  • Collaborate with local administrative stakeholders for ad-hoc projects;
  • Other administrative tasks and duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of business administrative related experience is required;
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in Payroll or Timekeeping experience;
  • High School Diploma
  • Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration or similar area would be considered an asset;
  • SAP specific experience would be considered an asset;
  • Experience supporting a warehouse and distribution team would be beneficial

 

Skills:

 

  • Outgoing and positive attitude;
  • Ability to clearly communicate;
  • Intermediate computer skills. Proficient in Excel with experience both creating and using pivot tables;
  • Customer service focused;
  • Able to work in a fast paced and demanding work environment
