About this opportunity

The Manager will work across the Coke Canada organization and with external stakeholders to build collaborative working relationships with General Managers and Regional Sales Teams to support our Market Unit Sales teams.  Responsible for developing and executing the organization's sales strategy, the Manager will create initiatives, cascade to our Market Units, measure performance and communicate through routine reviews with both the GMs and OUVPs.  They will also be the National owner of our frontline sales scheduling strategy and model and will hold the Market Unit teams accountable to adherence to that schedule.  The Manager will be responsible for owing and innovating our technology that supports the efforts of our Market Unit teams to drive execution and improve profitability.  This includes stewardship of our Spring CRM tool in conjunction with our Business Solutions team.  This manager will lead a team of two Specialists who will support in the execution and design of both short- and long-term initiatives.

 

 

 

 

As a Manager, Customer Sales Initiatives, you will report into the Director, Customer Sales Operations.

 

  • Develops and strategizes new and creative ways to drive revenue and profit
  • Responsible for stewardship of our current and future CRM platforms (i.e. Spring)
  • Working with the Director, responsible for short- and long-term Market Unit Sales strategy plan (creating an annual operating plan and a 3-year strategic plan) and tracking the adherence to the execution of that strategy
  • Working closely with the Customer Sales Solutions Centre to ensure they are aligned with the Sales strategy and initiatives                                                   
  • Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of route plans and make recommendations for improvement as required
  • Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of schedule adherence through strike rate and route compliance metrics
  • Owns creation and development of customer segmentation and visitation model                                                                             
  • Lead, manage and create action plans and surveys for all customer and customer groups (Markey Unit Sales, CCL NRS and FSOP teams, Regional Sales teams)                                  
  • Report out on the above surveys and action items in an action-oriented format                
  • Leadership of the Field Sales Initiatives team

                                                                                

Position Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or General Business preferred.
  • 3-5 years of position-related experience required.
  • Prior sales and analytical experience in CPG industry an asset
  • Ability to speak French is an asset
  • Expert skills in Excel, Access, PowerPoint required
  • Knowledge of Power BI is an asset
  • SAP, Margin Minder, Craft experience preferred
  • Remote work environment
