About this Opportunity

As the Distribution Supervisor, sparkling for Brampton, you will be responsible leading and managing the work of employees in a unionized, fast paced environment to achieve required productivity, safety and budget objectives. This will be a Tuesday - Saturday Day Shift
 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the effective and efficient distribution of product and management of drivers within a specific territory.    
  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.    
  • Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements.    
  • Manages drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked.    
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues.    
  • Serve as liaison between distribution and sales.   
  •  Manage and audit team member's timekeeping.    
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget.

 

Qualifications:

 

• At least 3 years of leadership experience within a unionized manufacturing or distribution environment is considered an asset.

• College diploma and/or University degree. Equivalent combination of post-secondary education and directly related experience can be considered. Specializing in business or supply chain management is an asset.

• Warehouse/Distribution center experience

• Background in CPG industry an asset

• Strong analytical skills (Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite).

• Ability to work flexible shifts or hours both afternoon shift and nightshift

• Proven record of leading diverse teams towards achieving objectives through collaborative and participatory management practices. Strong ability to manage through delegation, engagement, and proper follow-up.

• Effectively develop distribution teams through coaching and mentoring.

• Strong problem solving & decision making capabilities.

• Ability to adapt quickly to new situations, as well as new and changing processes, programs and services
