About This Opportunity:

As the Distribution Manager, you will report into the Distribution Center Manager and be based out of Brampton.  


In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure all logistics activities for the Market Unit are operating efficiently
  • Management, training, and development of all subordinate personnel
  • Establish distribution goals, manage all delivery KPIs and review processes regularly
  • Manage daily routes working closely with the dispatch group to ensure route plans are maintained and improved
  • Ensure communication of daily plans and compliance to CCCBL and facility policy on OSHA/safety standards and DOT regulations
  • Ensure commitment to superior customer service
  • Develop and manage the sales center distribution budget
  • Work with sales, warehouse & fleet departments to ensure deliveries are timely, accurate, and efficient


What you will need to succeed in this role:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Previous management experience in a unionized environment is required
  • Experience in direct sales delivery, beverage industry, and/or market development is required
  • Merchandising knowledge is required
  • Ability to work different shifts to accommodate different distribution schedules is required
  • Ability to work under time stress in meeting deadlines is required
  • Ability to lift 3565 pounds is required
  • Experience managing a large P&L, over 10M
  • Ability to influence change amongst a large workforce
